Joey Carroll is an avid writer and lover of world building, puzzles, mysteries, and a well timed punchline in the most absurd situation. His plays are imaginative, sci-fi, psychological thought experiments that make you question the fabric of the reality that you're in. He is drawn to dark subjects, but he likes to live in the world of metaphors, soul searching, and off-beat humor. Pictured in this section was an experimental work that Joey created called Creature: A Modern Day Prometheus, a short musical theatre piece with original vocal music, gripping scenes, and hypnotizing modern dance sections all baked into the story of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley from the perspective of the creature itself.
